March 6, 2005

Location: Frances Anderson Community Center in Edmonds, WA
Participants: Dan Parker, Thomas Garrison, Rick Clark, Nathan Proudfoot, Tony Hafner

The Puget Sound Lego Train Club displayed a 12 by 17 foot L-shaped layout at Rolling Rails, an annual one-day train show in Edmonds, Washington.

The crew Yard gnomes and pink flamingos! It's not a Lego town without a construction project

Other layouts at the show included Z-scale, N-guage, HO, and Lionel, as well as a public exhibition of the Swamp Creek and Western Railroad Association permanent HO layout in the Edmonds Amtrak station.

Attendance was light but steady throughout the day.

Dan's suburban block Preliminary layout plan Train yard

This layout featured the premiere of Dan Parker's new suburban block as well as the return of many MOCs from past shows. This was the first PSLTC layout to feature an L shape, which allowed close access to all the models while also allowing plenty of space for models, two loops of track, and an extensive train yard.
